The Inn was originally built in 1890 local lumber baron Augustus
Brown. Mr. Brown's profession is reflected in the extensive use of
beautiful, hand carved woodwork throughout the home, including a
stunning, curved all wood staircase, ornate decorative molding and
maple-cherry plank flooring. There are three fireplaces, all of which
are currently operational. All rooms are decorated with antiques (many
of which are for sale) dating to the late 18th century.
Each bedroom offers modern conveniences such as air conditioning,
cable television and telephone.

Start your morning off right with a complimentary healthful gourmet
breakfast, including specialty coffee (100% Kona, when available), freshly
squeezed juice, and hot or cold entrees. Sample entrees include Swiss
Birchemuesli and pancakes made from Walnut Acres organic mix accompanied by
classical music in the breakfast room.

Complimentary teas and desserts are served in the breakfast room. In the
evening, curl up with a good book in front of the fireplace or listen to a
selection of jazz or classical music. Relax and enjoy a glass of wine
before dinner. Enjoy a drink from our
selection of wine, champagne, liquor and specialty beers which are available
for purchase.

Executive Suite
|
A large blue & mauve carpeted bedroom with an elegant Normandy queen-sized
bed, floral cotton chintz chaise-lounge and stained glass windows. Curl up
with a good book in the small glass enclosed reading area located adjacent
to the bed. The master Bath Suite includes an oval two-person whirlpool,
pedestal sink, and separate glass enclosed ceramic tile shower floor and
surroundings.

Wedgewood Suite
|
A large blue & mauve carpeted bedroom with a queen-sized bed featuring a
unique linen canopy, a walkout porch, and a queen-sized sleeper sofa as well as a wood burning fireplace. Master Bath Suite includes a two person Aqua glass whirlpool tub, glass shower and a black granite floor.

Portofino Room
|
Average size carpeted bedroom with a queen-sized wood sleigh bed and antique
dresser. Ivy and grapevines are the theme in the bath which has a
combination tub/shower and marble floor. Beautiful bordeaux and beige
grapevine treatments.

Bordeaux Room
|
A smaller carpeted room with a brass double-sized bed and a birdseye maple
antique dresser. The marble floored bath has a shelled ceramic and glass
shower.

Rose Room
|
Medium to large room features hardwood flooring covered by a colorful
oriental rug, stained glass windows, antique mahogany dresser and
handcrafted lamps with silk flowers. The marble floored bath includes a
combination tub/shower.
